Twisted Twigs and Blossom

Trees covered in blossom are so beautiful. I remember cutting myself a very fine branch, twisting it round and round, and securing it with string. I hung it up, it was so pretty. But it only lasted a day.

Here is my interpretation of that memory. Unruly wire branches, twisted and formed into a delicate wreath with pretty textile blossom.

Each blossom has been made completely by hand using up-cycled and vintage fabric. Cutting, shaping and securing with tiny hand stitches. Colours inspired by my own early flowering cherries. One pale pink and one white, both with dark pink centres…
